Note: The MU will be different to our usual. Instead of doing the usual FF3.0.x->FF3.5.x MU, from this release forward, we will enable MU updates from FF3.0.x->FF3.6.0. (The latest release, skipping over intermediate releases.) 

As usual, this will be throttled MU, meaning requiring user to initiate. I believe we will leave MU throttled until bug#542391 is fixed in FF3.6.2.

May have misinformed you here. Ideally we'd have 11:26 as last checkin + 1 minute, but 11:31 will be fine since there were no other changes in between.

Checked in and tagged the two files with RELEASE_AUTOMATION_M15_1.

This is the first time we're updating from 3.0.x to 3.6 so the details URL is changing. That's a provisional value which the website guys need to sign off on (see bug 542589).

As 3.6 is already released, and there's no candidates dir for a final, I've disabled the betatest-url (they'll use url and go through bouncer instead). Everything else is updating versions, buildID's and locale lists. The mn locale isn't available for 3.6 so we should expect an error in the update verify for that (it'll go to 3.5.7 from an existing snippet); all the other 3.0.x locales should be fine.

Similar changes for update verify. We compare against exactly what existing users are getting rather than the 3.6rc2 candidates dir.

I swapped them apparently, good spotting. IIRC the only thing this affects is the update history but fixed it up:
 Checking in moz19-branch-major-update-patcher2.cfg;
 new revision: 1.19; previous revision: 1.18
and regenerated the snippets. Only diff to the old snippets is the buildID correction for linux & mac. Pushed 20100210-Firefox-3.0.18-3.6-MU-test live. Use 20100210-Firefox-3.0.18-3.6-MU and -MU-beta for 3.0.18 release day.
